It's Christmas Time!

We hope the parents enjoyed our Christmas program!!

We had a small celebration in our room and a gift exchange!

Gingerbread man!

This week we read The Gingerbread Man and went on a hunt around the school for the quick little Gingerbread Man. 

At the end of the hunt we found our prize, gingerbread cookies!! 

We made a chart of how we eat our cookie and what we took a bite of first. 

Then we enjoyed the rest of our cookie!

Our class pictures came in! It turned our great! ❤️

Elf on the shelf visits our classroom!

Whe had a special visitor on Tuesday! We began our Christmas countdown with an elf that Santa sent us! We named him Elfie. He had to leave us Wednesday because the students touched him and he only had enough magical power to get back to the North Pole. However we were a great class on Wednesday and that sent power to the North Pole to bring him back to our class. Here are some mischievous happening in our room!

Community helpers part 2

Visit from the newspaper editors and photographers!

We learned the newspaper gives everyone the same information unlike the Telephone game. 

Thanks to our HS buddies that we chose careers for in our community helper PBL. 

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving lunch together with Mrs. King's class. Kids loved out meal in the hallway and the fact that those were out tables from our rooms! :) 

Adrian's birthday was celebrated with cupcakes!

Turkey Trouble - disguise a turkey! The students and their parents did awesome! 

They began with the end in mind, knowing that turkey needed to look like something other than a turkey before Thanksgiving came! 

We ended out week with out second creative kids. My room had the Lego builders!
